Two teenagers have been arrested after stealing money from a safe box in a coffee shop at a gas station in Pattaya yesterday, January 12, 2020.
The Pattaya City Police Chief Colonel Khemmarin Pitsamai told The Pattaya News that two teenagers have been arrested who were identified only their nicknames due to their age, 17 year old Mr. Jack and 16 year old Mr. Boom at a rental room in Soi Khao Talo 2. Police seized 21,404 baht in cash from them.
On Friday, January 10th, 2020 Pattaya police were notified that thieves had stolen money from a safe box at Café Amazon inside PTT gas station at the Thep Prasit branch. They had broken into the shop through a window early Friday morning when the shop was closed.
Police checked CCTV footage and used the data to trace arrest the two suspects. The two suspects used their shirts in the cafe to attempt to hide their faces, however, were caught fully visible outside on an external CCTV. They are facing charges of robbery. They have allegedly admitted to their crime.
