Pregnant woman and two children in Sattahip injured in motorbike accident

Sattahip –
A pregnant woman and two kids sustained injuries in a motorbike accident on the way to a Children’s Day event in Sattahip yesterday morning, January 11, 2020.

Rescue workers were notified of the accident at 11:00AM on Sukhumwit Road in Bang Saray.

Emergency responders and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find three injured people. The driver was identified as 26 year old Ms. Parichart Lueangaram who is nine months pregnant.

Nearby, rescue officials found a six year old girl, Pitchaya Lueangarm who is Ms Parichart’s daughter and a nine year old girl, Supatsorn Rungroj, who is Ms. Parichart’s niece. All three were taken a local hospital for their injuries. The unborn child is safe, doctors told The Pattaya News.

Ms Parichart told police that they were on the way to a Children’s Day event. Ms. Parichart said she suffered a fainting spell before she lost control of her motorbike. Doctors at the scene believe the incident was due to dehydration and the heat.
