Pickup truck driver seriously injured after crashing into a live chicken truck in Sri Racha

Sri Racha –
A pickup truck driver has sustained serious injuries after crashing into a truck full of live chickens yesterday.

Lieutenant Colonel Phongsakorn Ponpan of the Nongkham Police was notified of the incident at 2:00AM yesterday in the early morning.

Police and rescue workers arrived at the scene to find a damaged pickup truck.

25 year old Adisak Nonsrirat, the driver, was removed from the pickup truck before being rushed to a local hospital.

Nearby, rescue workers found a truck which was carrying many live chickens. 35 year old Kraipop Pakdipdee, the driver was waiting for police at the scene. He was not injured.

He told The Pattaya News that the pickup truck had slammed into the back of his vehicle at high speed. The chickens were not injured.

Sri Racha police are continuing their investigation for further legal action.
