Canadian museum owner seriously injured after falling from hill in Pattaya

Pattaya –
A Canadian museum owner has sustained serious injuries after falling in the Pratumnak Hill area in South Pattaya yesterday afternoon.

Rescue workers were notified of the incident at 4:00PM on a hill near the Voice of Navy Division 5 Radio Station.

Emergency responders and The Pattaya News rushed to the scene to find 86 year old Mr. John T., Canadian national.

He had broken his leg. He was rushed to a local hospital.

Ms. Wannisa Sukjai, 24 years old, who is Mr. John’s daughter, told The Pattaya News that her father is the owner of a museum in Canada.

He had arrived in Pattaya four days ago. Today Ms. Wannisa, her father and friends were walking up the hill. He had slipped from a rock before sliding down to the ground in the forest five metres below.

She has also asked someone to clean the ground along the walkway to prevent similar accidents like this.
