Colonel Tanaphong Poethi, the Pattaya City Police Acting Chief, told The Pattaya News that police are now hunting for suspects and checking CCTV footage. They will face legal action. Police have been at the bar where the incident took place this morning and met with a representative from the bar already.
Police also stated that regardless of the situation bars and venues should always call the police if a major dispute takes place between a customer and the management or security. They reminded tourists to not hesitate to call the tourist police at 1155 for assistance versus escalating a situation at a venue.
