Early morning motorbike accident seriously injures foreign tourist and Thai Woman in Jomtien

Pattaya-
A foreign man and a Thai woman have sustained serious injuries after a motorbike accident in Pattaya this morning.

The Pattaya City Police was notified of the accident at 6AM on Jomtien second road.

Police, emergency responders and The Pattaya News rushed to the scene to find two injured people who are a 35 year old Thai woman named Ms. Nongkran Saipromma and the foreign man who was unconscious and bleeding heavily. The foreigner had no identification but appeared to be around 45 to 50 years old.

They were rushed to a local hospital. Nearby they found the damaged motorbike. No witnesses saw the accident.

At this stage police believe that the motorbike driver had lost control at the curve before colliding with a tree. It was not clear who was driving the motorbike and who was the passenger at this time. Neither person were wearing helmets.

However, police are continuing their investigation to find the cause of accident. It was not stated to the Pattaya news if there is CCTV in the area.
