A cobra was found inside a young boy’s shoes while he was putting them on in Baan Bueang.
Rescue workers were notified of the incident at a rental room in Klong Geiw. They arrived at the scene to find the baby cobra inside the shoes.
It took about 20 minutes to catch the one metre cobra. It will be released to a local forest.
The 10 year old boy, Suthep Laongkaew, said he saw the snake last night outside but it had escaped.
His mother said his son was putting on his shoes but luckily he had moved his feet out before the cobra bit him.
