Cruise Liner drops anchor off coast of Pattaya to take shelter from strong wind and waves, tourists to come ashore

Pattaya-

Rescue workers were notified from local fishermen this morning that a big ship hit rocks off Pattaya Beach.

Rescue workers rushed to the scene where they later realised that the ship had just stopped to drop the anchor near Koh Lan to wait for strong wind and waves.

The luxury ship named “The World”, is from the Bahamas originally and is carrying 174 tourists from Singapore to Koh Samui and Koh Kood.

They are also now planning to drop their passengers to go to Pattaya tonight. They will stay sheltered in the local area near Koh Larn at least through this evening.
