Na Jomtien’s oldest recorded resident dies at One hundred and two years old

Na Jomtien-

Rescue workers and police were informed of the death of a 102 year old man, said to be the areas oldest resident, at 1:00 PM today at 83 Moo 5 in Na Jomtien.

Captain Ratchapol Thiamsakhu led the investigation along with local doctors and medical workers.

It was determined the man had died peacefully in his sleep while taking an afternoon nap.

He had been born in 1917 and relatives said he did not drink or smoke and had a strict diet of fruits and vegetables which he attributed to his long life. His relatives stated he lived a long and full life and was at peace. He had been born and raised in Na Jomtien and lived in the area his entire life.
