Elderly woman dies after drinking alcohol mixed with toad blood in Chonburi, fifth death in one month

Another person has died after drinking herbal alcohol, also known as ‘Yadong’, mixed with poisonous toad blood in Mueang Chonburi.

An elderly woman, 78 year old Boonruen Suansri, has died this week from drinking alcohol from the same seller. She had been in the hospital for several weeks following the original incident. The doctor said she died from Methanol poisoning.

The alcohol seller, Natthaphon Chotipatpaiboon, has not been caught yet and is still on the run from police.
