Motorbike driver seriously injured after colliding with sedan in Pattaya on overpass

Pattaya –
A motorbike driver has sustained serious injuries after colliding with a sedan near the Bali Hai Pier last night.

Lieutenant Colonel Natthawat Plearnjit of the Pattaya City Police was notified of the incident at 11:00PM on the overpass near the Bali Hai Pier.

Police, emergency responders and The Pattaya News rushed to the scene to find the damaged motorbike.

Nearby, they found the motorbike driver, 29 year old Ms. Kingkaew Sanebandit, who had sustained serious injuries. She was taken to a local hospital.

The damaged sedan was found with the driver, 26 year old Mr. Norrawait Kaewmongkon.

He told The Pattaya News that he was coming from another province to Pattaya. He was not familiar with the road.

He had not realized that there was a significant curve, he claimed. He had slammed into the motorbike which was coming from the opposite lane.

However, Pattaya Police are continuing their investigation for further legal action.
