Relatives of child who survived horrific crash that killed his parents and sibling claim magical amulet saved his life in Sattahip


Relatives of a young child who survived a horrific car crash and explosion just outside of Pattaya this weekend believe a special amulet given to the child by his grandparents saved his life, they told the media yesterday afternoon.

The child suffered minor injuries and his arm is currently in a splint, however, is in good spirits and recovering in the hospital. Original reports stated the child was five years old but relatives told the local media yesterday afternoon the child is two.

A relative, Mr. Sanan Khaochan, told Thai media the boy is too young to understand what happened to his parents and older sibling that passed away in the horrific car accident. He stated that he will be taking care of the boy.

He also told Thai media that the boy had a special amulet given from his grandparents that contained magical powers that helped save the boy’s life and believed the boy will be seen as a miracle by local villagers.

Finally, Mr. Khaochan dismissed reports that the father, who was driving, used any sort of drugs or had any chronic conditions and said they family drove this route on a regular basis.
