Motorbike driver dies after falling from overpass in Sri Racha

Sri Racha –
A motorbike driver has died this morning after a motorbike accident on an overpass before hitting the ground five meters below.

The Nongkham Police were notified of the accident on an overpass in Boryang in Nongkham at 3:20AM this morning.

They rushed to the scene to find a damaged motorbike on the overpass.

Five meters below on the road the rescue workers found the driver who had sustained serious injuries. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses told the local Thai media that the driver was driving with high speed before colliding with a guardrail. The driver had then fallen down to the ground.

Police state they are continuing to investigate the incident. It is noted by The Pattaya News that driving motorbikes on the overpass is against the law.
