Indian National not guilty after complaints over allegedly being an illegal tour guide in Pattaya

An Indian man is not guilty after complaints about allegedly being an illegal tour guide in Pattaya.

The Pattaya Tourist Police reports that a complaint has been posted in social media saying that there is an illegal Indian tour guide at Pattaya beach. A tour guide is a protected Thai occupation only for Thai citizens.

The Indian man had allegedly persuaded tourists to buy and play marine activities at the beach.

The Pattaya Tourist Police have continued the investigation. The Indian is 38 year old Mr Deepak Kumar who is a staffer at a tour company.

Ms Juriphon who is the company owner shows Mr Kumar’s work permit to police. He has worked at the company as an international cooperator and was legally employed.

He was stationed at a parasail service at the beach to explain in Hindi language how to play parasail with safety rules to Indian tourists.

The Pattaya Tourist Police has confirmed that Mr Kumar is not guilty as social media has complained.
