Fireworks are strictly prohibited for Loy Krathong on November 11 in Bang Lamung and the Pattaya area..

People are being warned over dangerous use of fireworks and floating sky lanterns.

These activities are strictly banned in Bang Lamung for Loy Krathong on November 11.

The use of these items must be allowed by the district chief. Other offenses shall result in an imprisonment up to three years or fine up to 60,000 baht or both. Sellers will also face harsh penalties.

These items could cause fires and are considered dangerous.
