Kuwaiti man injured after Pattaya beach robbery

Pattaya –
A Kuwaiti man has been injured after a robbery on Pattaya Beach early this morning.

Capt Pichai Rueangsutkeed of the Pattaya City Police was notified of the incident at 3:30AM on Pattaya Beach near Soi 7.

Police and emergency responders rushed to the scene to find the Kuwaiti man who had sustained face injuries.

He told the police he had been attacked by three Thai men. They took his cash, mobile phone and watch before running away. He was helped by people in a beer bar nearby before they called police.

Police found three suspects who were drinking alcohol on the beach but they rejected involvement in everything. They claimed to have seen nothing despite the incident taking place allegedly a few feet away

The mobile phone and the watch were found in the sand near them. They were taken to the Pattaya City Police Station.

Police will be reviewing CCTV and the incident is under further investigation.
