Driver dies in horrific car fire in Chonburi

Chonburi –
A driver has died after his vehicle has collided with a tree and caught fire in Mueang Chonburi early this morning.

Dragon Rescue was notified of the accident at 3:51AM on Wat Saman Road in Nong Kangkok.

They rushed to the scene to find the sedan which had collided with a coconut tree and was on fire.

It took about 15 minutes to control the fire. Inside theh found the body of the driver who was identified as 23 year old Mr. Pattaraphon Natee.

Rescue workers used a jaw of life to free his body from the sedan. His remains were taken to a local hospital.

It is believed that he might have fallen asleep at the wheel before colliding with the tree.
