29 year old construction worker in Pattaya livestreams his death by suicide over Facebook

A 29 year old Thai man died from suicide this morning in Pattaya that he livestreamed over Facebook.

The man, whose name has been withheld by The Pattaya news, worked at a construction camp near Soi Khao Noi. He had been drinking with co workers after work when he went to his housing, a small shack at the camp alone.

One of his friends who was still drinking saw him livestreaming as he hung himself and rushed to the shack, pulling him down and attempting to provide CPR while another friend contacted rescue services.

Unfortunately, the 29 year old passed away from his injuries.

His friends told The Pattaya News that the man’s girlfriend had recently broken up with him.
