Local residents have asked for local Pattaya officials to fix a large and dangerous road hole on the highway near Nong Nooch garden after a young local woman was injured when she fell into the hole, driving down the highway.
Local residents say that the hole is not from construction but rather from erosion caused by recent rain. They stated that the hole has been there for well over a week but the only action taken so far is placing small road cones around it that are unlit.
They are hoping that by reporting the matter to local press the road repair work is expedited.
The woman, who was not identified, luckily suffered only minor injuries in the accident.
