Graffiti artist strikes in Pattaya, covering local tax reminder signs with Graffiti

Graffiti found on tax boards in Pattaya

Pattaya –

Graffiti has been found on several tax notice reminder boards in Pattaya. The graffiti was found on three tax boards at a bus stop near a petrol station on Sukhumwit Pattaya Road today, October 16th, 2019.

Those boards are a reminder for people to pay the annual tax as a Pattaya City resident.

Police and local officials stated that the graffiti is a poor representation of the city to tourists as well as local residents. The Pattaya News notes that the graffiti is not vulgar and seem to be random, unconnected and nearly incoherent thoughts. Roughly a month prior the Pattaya City police arrested a Chinese National who had vandalized multiple signboards and areas in the city with pro-Hong Kong propaganda.

Police state they are reviewing CCTV in the area to locate the vandal or vandals.
