Fire damages dessert restaurant in Pattaya

A fire has damaged a dessert restaurant in Pattaya at about noon today.

Fire fighters of the Pattaya City were notified of the fire at 11:30AM at a dessert restaurant in Soi Khao Talo.

They rushed to the scene to find smoke coming out from the kitchen on the first floor. It took about ten minutes to put out the fire.

The restaurant owner, 38 year old Ms. Suwimon Larpworakoit, told The Pattaya News she was going to fry pork. She had left boiling oil in the kitchen. She later discovered that the fire had started and called for help.

Nobody was injured, however there was property damage to the kitchen.
