990,000 methamphetamine pills seized from drug dealers arrest in Pattaya

Police have seized a total of 990,000 methamphetamine pills and one kilograms of crystal methamphetamine after they have arrested a drug dealer in Pattaya.
The press release was held at the Pattaya City Police station yesterday afternoon.

The announcement was led by the Region 2 Police Commander Lt Gen Montri Yimyam, the Region 2 Police Deputy Commander Maj Gen Teeraphon Jindaluang and the Chonburi Provincial Police Commander Maj Gen Prakan Prajong.
Five related drug suspects have been arrested in four provinces which are in Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Suphan Buri and Chonburi.
The five suspects are 33 year old Mr. Supot ‘Ta’ Nikrawat, 35 year old Mr. Suppanatchakun ‘ Preaw’ Kongtadam, 45 year old Mr. Chalearmphon ‘Keng’ Nokthong, 37 year old Mr. Paitoon ‘ Toon’ Panyawattanakorn and 35 year old Ms. Chonticha ‘Dear’ Setkit.

Police have seized 990,000 of methamphetamine pills and one kilograms of crystal methamphetamine.
Police have also seized other items in total valued at more than 100 million baht.

Lt Gen Montri said the recent arrests and seizures follows an original tip and arrest on September 15, when the Pattaya City Police arrested another drug dealer in Pattaya.
They have continued their investigation with a sting operation where they have arrested the suspects and seized drugs.

This is one of the largest ever seizures in the Pattaya area.
