19 year old local Thai man killed after being run over by truck in accident (Video)

Banglamung – A 19 year old Thai man has died after being run over by a truck in a three-vehicle accident.

Huay Yai Police in Chonburi was notified of an accident on Sak Ngaew Road yesterday afternoon, July 21st, 2019.

Police and emergency responders arrived at the scene to find two damaged motorbikes, a Yamaha and a Honda, as well as a slightly damaged truck.

19-year-old local male student Chonlasit Suksamran, who was a passenger on the Honda motorbike, had died at the scene under the truck wheel.

The Yamaha motorbike driver stated to the media that he was traveling with his wife to work.  He stated that when he was attempting to turn left into a smaller road, the Honda motorbike tried to overtake them.

Their motorbikes collided according to the Yamaha driver and Mr. Suksamran was thrown off his motorbike and into the road where he was run over by the truck.

The driver of the Yamaha bike and his wife, who was not named to the media, were not injured.

However, police are continuing their investigation to determine the exact fault and cause.
