Police launch special operation over Fireworks Festival weekend “Make Pattaya Liveable”

Teams of law enforcement officers from the Pattaya City Police will be deployed throughout the city this weekend in a special operation deemed “Make Pattaya Liveable.”

Launched by Police Chief Police Col. Apichai Krobphet the emphasis is on loan sharks, gambling, football betting (Which will be a focus throughout the world cup, especially on any venues offering any sort of prizes or version of gambling on the games), human trafficking, illegal possession of firearms and street racing.

The aim is to ensure that foreign visitors can feel confidant in their safety.

Additional raids and enforcement is expected throughout the month, especially during the fireworks weekend and the world cup.
