Over 30 “businessmen” conned out of over 150 million baht by Ladyboy with gold scam

About 30 businessmen in Pattaya say a transvestite former cabaret performer cheated them out of almost Bt150 million in total.

Panthakorn Supawannathorn, 46, and the others filed a complaint with the Pattaya police station at 3am (Yes, 3:00AM) on Thursday alleging Wiwat Lamnee, 30, had tricked them into investing in gold bars with a promise of high return on investment profit payments every 10 to 15 days.

Panthakorn said each of the businessmen had invested between Bt500,000 and Bt6000,000, transferring the money to Wiwat, who then disappeared and stopped responding to messages and phone calls.

We will continue to provide updates as we get them.
