High Powered Motorcycle crashes into taxi van at reported high speed on Central Pattaya Road, Driver in coma.

Another day, another road accident involving a high powered motorbike.

This one involved a taxi van and a big bike just in front of the Bella Bella Hotel on Pattaya Central Road.

Witnesses said the bike was speeding but the Thai Police at this time want to examine the CCTV cameras around the accident before they determine the cause. The driver of the bike is still in a coma at Pattaya Memorial Hospital and at this time has not been identified, however, is believed to be a Thai national. The driver of the van was not injured and did not have any passengers at the time.

The driver of the motorbike was not wearing a helmet when witnesses reported he was driving at top speed down the busy street, dashing in and out of traffic, when he slammed into the taxi van being thrown from the bike to the street.
